We stayed at San Simeon Campground in Feb. 2018 and we camped up on the top at their Washburn Sites. We actually don’t like staying down below, as I think it smells a bit moldy, so we always camp up on the top, it’s more open and this time a year it’s so beautiful with the green hills.
